Fairview Farm Educational Experience
Fully funded educational sessions for small groups of school aged children.
We have loved taking on animals who have needed a new home and find it a great way to show the children how to care for them through the animal welfare act of the Five Freedoms.
During the 2 hours, the children will learn all about what we do here at Fairview Farm and how working on small projects can make a difference to our wildlife and environment. Each month has a theme around learning about the wild flowers and different wildlife here for that month and also what veggies are growing in our polytunnel. The children will also be given the opportunity to hand feed the alpacas, chickens and pygmy goats and do some arts and crafts with some alpaca fleece.
We are flexible with the group visits and happy to tailor them to suit specific needs or interests.
The sessions are for a maximum of 8 children and ideal for an established Home Ed group or small group from local schools. Please get in touch if you’re interested in booking an Educational Visit, they run on Mon, Weds and Fridays 10am -12pm and 12.30pm - 2.30pm.
